As you relax and engage with guided visualization, I will offer you support in a calm, safe environment. You will always be completely present and in control of your mind and body during our sessions. When you close your eyes, relax and imagine the life you want, you are not leaving the real world. Rather, you are helping yourself accept and integrate your ideal life as a real possibility.
I don’t want to bring up all these negative feelings.
During Rapid Resolution Therapy sessions, I will not ask you to discuss intense pain or relive traumatic events. I create a safe, nonjudgmental, relaxing space so that you aren’t triggered or made to feel distressing emotions. Rather than addressing issues by digging into them, we will resolve them by visualizing positive outcomes.
I don’t want to be in therapy forever.
